An AI receptionist for tradies

You can't answer the phone from a roof or under a sink. Our AI receptionist picks up, gets the job details and books it in or texts you, so the caller doesn't ring the next tradie on the list.

  • Answers in your business name when you can't
  • Gets the job, the suburb and how urgent it is
  • Books quote visits, or texts you the details to call back
  • Puts real emergencies straight through to you

Sound familiar?

The calls you're missing

  • New work: "Can you come and quote on…"
  • Emergencies: burst pipes, no power, no hot water
  • Existing customers asking when you're coming
  • Suppliers and sales calls you'd rather not take on a job

Step by step

What happens on a call

  1. Your phone rings out or you're busy, so the call forwards to the receptionist.
  2. It answers in your business name and asks what the job is, where it is and how soon they need you.
  3. If it's urgent by your rules, it puts the caller through to you or texts you straight away.
  4. Otherwise it books a quote visit in your calendar, or sends you the details to call back, and texts the customer to confirm.

Where it stops

What it won't do

  • It won't give prices unless you tell it what it can quote.
  • It won't promise a time you haven't opened in your calendar.
  • Anything odd comes to you as a message, so you decide.

Your systems

Works with what you've got

Most trades run their jobs in something like ServiceM8, Tradify, simPRO or a shared calendar. On the free call we check what yours allows. If it takes bookings from other apps, we connect to it. If not, the job comes to you by text and email to add yourself.

How it starts

A paid pilot, then we run it

A free 30-minute call first, to see whether it's worth doing. Then a paid pilot with a fixed quote: half upfront, half when it's live, and live in 14 days or your setup fee back. Once it's doing its job, we keep it running monthly and tune it as you go.

Client work

One job first, then we kept it running

A voice-coaching studio in Australia started with one fixed-quote job. We now look after their bookings, reminders and enquiries month to month. The write-up says what we fixed, what changed and what we haven't measured yet.

Questions

Common questions

Will customers know it's not me?
It answers in your business name and doesn't pretend to be you. Most callers just want the job sorted. You hear it on test calls before it takes a real one, and you can change what it says.
What about after-hours emergency calls?
You set the rules. For example: burst pipes and no power go straight to your mobile, everything else gets booked for the morning.
Can it book straight into my job software?
Often, if your software accepts bookings from other apps. If it doesn't, the receptionist books into a calendar you share or texts you the job to add yourself.
Do I keep my phone number?
Yes. Calls you don't answer are forwarded to the receptionist, so customers keep ringing the number they already know. We check how your phone provider handles forwarding on the free call.
Will it annoy my customers?
It keeps calls short and sticks to what you've approved. You choose what it says and when it hands over to a person, and you hear it on test calls before it takes a real one.

Other industries

How we work with you

The answers people ask for before they book: cost, timeline, ownership, and what happens when something breaks.

What does it cost?
The first call is free: 30 minutes, no charge and no obligation. Most work starts with a paid pilot on one job, quoted in writing on fixed scope before anything starts: half upfront, half when it's live, and live in 14 days or your setup fee back. Keeping it running after that is a monthly fee, also quoted up front. Website fixes and rebuilds are quoted the same way. There is no hourly billing.
How long does it take from first contact to go-live?
The first call is usually booked within a few days. A first setup is live within 14 days of the quote being agreed and access to your accounts, or your setup fee comes back. Larger automation systems take 4–8 weeks, and a website rebuild 2–5 weeks depending on the number of pages. You get dated milestones in writing before work starts.
What happens after launch? Do you keep running it, or do I take over?
Both. You own it: everything runs in your accounts, on your keys, and you get the logins and the instructions. For systems that answer calls and chase work, we keep them running monthly after the pilot, so you don't have to babysit them. Nothing is locked to us.
If something breaks or needs a tweak, how is that handled and at what cost?
Anything we built that breaks is fixed free for 30 days after handover. After that, systems we keep running are looked after as part of the monthly service, and one-off fixes to anything else are quoted per job. New work is quoted as a new fixed-scope job.
How much of my time does this take?
About two hours in total: one 30-minute call, giving us access to the tools involved, and one review round before go-live. We do the rest.
What proof do you have that this works?
Real client work, written up on this site with what was built and what changed: Australian Power (WhatsApp quote automation), Second to None (painting and renovation ops), Invest With Alison (financial-education funnel), and a voice-coaching studio we have run month to month since the first job. Where a result was not measured, the write-up says so.
